Free compute, paid for by the credits pool.
USDF is money: backed 1:1, redeemable, transferable. Credits are a balance in Foundry's system that pays for compute. Your balance shows both as separate lines.
- Credits are free compute in your Foundry account, spent before your USDF.
- Credits pay for models and Foundry's own tools. Marketplace services, agent payments and payment links are paid in USDF.
- Credits stay in the account they were granted to and are spent there.
- Credits last 60 days from the day they are granted. Unused credit goes back to the pool.

Points turn into free compute credits: each season shares a pool of free credit among accounts by the points they earned. Points also give early access to new launches. There is no airdrop.
The balance endpoint returns USDF and credits separately, each credit with its expiry date. Credits are spent first on eligible requests.
