1.The service
Foundry ("we") runs usdf.fi and the API at api.usdf.fi: one OpenAI-compatible API to AI models from several providers, paid for in USDF, per request or from a prepaid balance. By using the site, the API, the SDKs or the MCP server you agree to these terms.
2.Who may use it
You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live, and you may not use the service from, or on behalf of anyone in, a country or list under sanctions that apply to us. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it.
3.Accounts, keys and agents
You sign in with an email address or a wallet through Privy. You are responsible for your sign-in, your wallets and your API keys, and for everything done with them, including by agents and sub-keys you create, within the limits you set. Keep keys secret and revoke any key you believe is exposed; we cannot undo a charge made with a valid key.
4.USDF
1 USDF = $1 of compute, redeemable 1:1 for USDG at any time. The contract is unmodified OpenZeppelin code with no owner, fee, pause or upgrade path; redeeming USDF for USDG does not go through us. Redemption depends on USDG transfers succeeding: USDG is issued by a regulated issuer that retains pause and freeze powers over its own token. USDF is a unit for paying for compute. It is not an investment, carries no interest, and we make no promise about its market price anywhere it trades.
5.Balances
USDF you deposit to an account balance is held in the service's own wallets until it is spent on requests or withdrawn to your wallet (minimum 0.10 USDF). What the service holds and owes is published at /transparency and GET /v1/reserve. A balance is not a bank deposit and is not insured.
6.Prices and billing
Prices are published in the price sheet (GET /v1/pricing). A listed price does not rise for 30 days from the sheet that listed it. Each request is held at the most it can cost and charged what it used, never more than the hold; a failed request is refunded under the rules in the documentation (/docs/errors), and a payment made per request (x402 or MPP) is refunded when the request is not served. Charges are final once a request has been served.
7.Models and providers
Requests are served by third-party model providers, chosen by the routing rules in the docs. A model may become unavailable, change or be withdrawn; it is then marked unavailable or removed from the catalog. Model output can be wrong, incomplete or offensive: check it before relying on it. Some models are offered under their developers' licences and usage policies, which also apply to your use of them.
8.Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others' rights, create sexual content involving minors, build malware, attack systems, harass people, or deceive people about content being made by AI where the law requires you to say so. Do not try to get around billing, limits or access controls, or to overload the service. We may refuse requests, suspend keys or accounts, and report unlawful use where the law requires.
9.Earning with USDF
Holding USDF in sUSDF, or the holder token, can earn a share of the gateway's revenue as published on /earn. Any such share depends on usage, can be zero and is not guaranteed; staking involves smart-contract risk, and a cooldown may apply to withdrawals where the vault has one.
10.Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and publish its status at /status, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or end features, models or prices (subject to the 30-day rule above), and will change these terms by updating this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
11.Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow to be limited.
12.Free credits
Free credits are a promotional balance, not money and not a token. They pay only for models and Foundry's own tools, never for third-party sellers, other agents, send-by-link or launchpad trades. They cannot be sent, sold or redeemed, carry a daily spending cap, and expire 60 days after they are granted. One signup credit per X account older than 3 months.
13.Ending use
You may stop at any time and withdraw your balance to your wallet. We may suspend or end your access for a breach of these terms; unless the law prevents it, you can still withdraw your remaining balance. The sections on USDF, balances, disclaimers and liability continue after access ends.
